On the third day of the Ice Sculpting Festival at Canary Wharf it is decision day when the judges decide who will win the trophies for the competition.
The large crowds continued today, with the sculptors working hard to refine their sculptures.
The Ten international teams were representing countries such as the United States, Sweden and Poland.
The results will be announced at 5 o’clock on Sunday evening.
A bright warm winter’s day has bought out the large crowds for the second day of the London Ice Sculpting Festival.
If yesterday was about small and intricate with the one metre ice blocks, today is more about big and beautiful with the larger two metre blocks.
The theme for this part of the competition is Fabulous Fashion sculpted by each 2 x man team.
The Sculptors will be producing their masterpieces over the two days, Saturday 11 January, 10.00 – 19.00 continuing Sunday 12 January 12.00 – 17.00
Many people have been enjoying themselves at the other events at offer:

Well we have had plenty of wind and rain in London in the last few weeks, now it is time for some ice.
But hopefully this ice will not cause disruption but entertainment, for today sees the beginning of the London Ice Sculpting Festival in Canary Wharf.
There will be three different competitions held over three days, The Big Block, The Small Block and a Freestyle competition.
SINGLE BLOCK Theme: River Life sculpted by each 2 x man team.
Friday 10 January, 12.00 – 14.30
FREESTYLE No theme – the individual sculptors have free choice of design.

BIG BLOCK Theme: Fabulous Fashion sculpted by each 2 x man team.
Saturday 11 January, 10.00 – 19.00 continuing Sunday 12 January 12.00 – 17.00

As well as the competitions there is a Winter Food Market, Ice Graffiti Wall, Ice Sculpting Masterclasses, Music and The Canary Wharf Ice Rink to keep you occupied.
If it is not too cold I will be reporting back on the competition over the next couple of days.
On Sunday it was the last day of the London Ice sculpting Festival and despite the near freezing temperatures there were large crowds to see the Freestyle Competition.
The ice sculptors were allowed to create their own designs, here are a few of their amazing efforts.

Day two of the London Ice Sculpting festival at Canary Wharf brought out the crowds in near freezing conditions.
Today it is the doubles competition with the theme Wonders of the Universe.
The teams from Europe and the USA were showing their considerable skills.
The Cross from the USA team.
An Ice maiden.
Now the winter cold spell is well and truly here, what could be better to stand around large blocks of ice in Canary Wharf.
I am standing in the freezing cold waiting for the chisels to cut into the gleaming ice, but wait there is an announcement that the sculpting will be delayed for a short while due to technical difficulties !
If the technical difficulties are sorted out , Friday is the start of the three-day London Ice Sculpting Festival and talented sculptors from the USA and Europe will battle it out to be Champions.
Creating magnificent sculptures from glistening blocks of ice, the Festival will feature teams from around the globe. In a nod to NASA’s ongoing Mars mission they will carve to the themes: The Wonders Of The Universe and Infinity.
To keep you amused there is ice carving Masterclasses, the fun, snow-filled Snow pit, an interactive Ice Graffiti Wall, Ice Chess, Winter Market and loads of not to be missed highlights including a special Northern Lights Laser Show.
